The paths to becoming a programmer can be a bit overwhelming and I recently realised these little tricks and So in this article, I will share with you a few tips on how to grow in the tech ecosystem. There is no logic to it, all you have to do is start by:

Picking a niche

Starting ff can be really challenging but once you have decided on what aspect of programming you want to focus on, look up what it takes to achieve the thing you want to do. Learn the languages that align with your goals, devote time to it and be good at it 💪🏽.

Make google your friend🌐

There are tons of articles written by the amazing programmers and thanks to Google SEO, that filters out all the necessary information on the content you are looking for and need at the time. There is an 80% possibility that there is a fix for whatever questions you are asking on the Internet

Practice good time management ⏰

It always seems like there is so much to do, and very little time to accomplish them. That is why you need to learn to schedule your days because, once your calendar reminds you, you are more likely to do it. Set a realistic timeframe to complete each task every day and watch your self grow.

Get yourself a mentor🧑🏽👨🏽

Get in touch with an experienced programmer in your field, get comfortable learning from them and with them. Get to ask one-on-one questions and that get answered directly.

Seek a community of like minds and become a member, this will help with your growth and keeps your interests in check. You will be able to learn together, share your knowledge and grow together. Also, learn the art of networking, connect with people, make new friends and share your ideas.

Attend conferences

Attend conferences that align to your field, and listen to what the speakers have to say. You have to understand that, We learn every day and no knowledge is wasted. Always take note of the key points that are useful to you at every conference and practice them.

Contribute to Open source

Contributing to open source has several benefits to your reputation and your skillset. Contributing helps your learn, builds your reputation, has greater job Prospects, gives your practical experience, plus contributing it is fun. Contributing is a great way to learn kick start your career to the next level with actual projects.

Practice as much as you learn👩🏽‍💻

I know it’s hard, but at some point, you have to step away from the tutorials and start to build actual projects. Figuring things out are your own through trial and error is a game-changer. It helps you master your skills.
